FAQs
NCFE’s are highly reputable vocational and work-related courses. This qualification is internally assessed through portfolio, coursework, and practical assessment.
The NCFEs are designed to accommodate the needs of employers for immediate full time employment and allow students to progress to higher education to degree level (through UCAS points).
Both NCFEs and A Levels enable learners to progress to further education, either at college or university. The main difference is that an NCFE provides learners with a way to learn through practical work as well as study, studying for an A Level involves more written work and exams.
